Sheriff’s Office
The Sheriff’s Office is dedicated to maintaining public safety and providing law enforcement services. The office is responsible for patrolling the county’s roadways, ensuring the safety of residents in both urban and rural areas. The Sheriff’s Office handles a variety of duties, including emergency response, criminal investigations, and community outreach programs. They also manage the county jail and oversee the registration of sex offenders and other individuals required by law to register with local authorities.
In addition to their law enforcement responsibilities, the Sheriff’s Office operates a communication center that handles all administrative and 911 emergency calls. This center serves as the hub for coordinating responses to incidents and disseminating important information to the public. Through continuous training and community engagement, the Sheriff’s Office strives to enhance the quality of life for all residents by ensuring a safe and secure environment.
